More of Eliza.

Here are some more pictures of Eliza. The Nurses love Eliza and are constantly wanting to do photo shoots with her. Here are a few pictures of her during bath time and also during a photo shoot that 3 of the Nurses put together. Eliza has a very calm personality, and hardly ever cries but when she does all of the nurses run to her. She is a very happy and content baby. Doctors have said that she may be coming home Friday or Saturday if all does well.

Update.

As of now Cameron is doing very well, he still needs time for his brain and for everything to heal but the Doctors are very pleased with his recovery. He has taken a diving test and passed but he still needs to take one more with the DMV to make it a for sure thing. The doctors did decrease his OT and Speech and have discharged him from PT. But as of last week he has developed bone growths and needs to continue with OT more often for the next two months. They haven't said for sure but they may need to go in and remove the extra bone that is forming and also repair another 2 breaks in his arm. But they are waiting to see if time will heal it. Cameron is coming along and feels more himself everyday. He still has a  hard time with focusing and other cognitive issues but he is seeing doctors to help with these issues. Again Cameron and myself have to be patient and know that this is going to be a long recovery. He has come so far but has a way to go.

Baby news: We went to the doctors today and it turns out that Eliza will becoming sooner then planned. I'm pre-eclampsia and will not be able to make it full term. I have had blood test done and they came out OK but with other factors she will be born early. She is not as big as they want her to be so they want to make sure to keep her in there as long as they can. But the doctors have said I wont be going over 37 weeks. They are also worried that Eliza is under stress and will be checking her often. They told me to be prepared to have her at anytime depending on the test results. I go in again tomorrow for a stress test for Eliza and depending on that test and other blood work we will have a better time frame of when Eliza will be coming. They have just told me to take it easy and wanted to put me on bed rest but who has time for that when you have school everyday and other doctors apt, it just doesn't seem possible.  Its been a crazy year and doesn't seem to slow down at all. I'm thankful for every ones support and prays.

Our new place for a while

The first thing Cameron wanted to do...

THe first thing Cameron wanted to do after he got out of the hospital was go to the temple and thank Heavenly Father for what he had done for him.

Our Summer!

As all of you know Cameron and mine summer started out with a bang!!! Cameron was is a motorcycle accident on May 28. He was in a coma due to the accident for about three and half weeks or so. He then was moved to rehab for another 4 weeks.  His recovery has been fast compared to what people were telling us it would be. Cameron has been strong through it all and has been a fighter the whole time. He still goes to outpatient rehab MWF for PT, OT, and Speech for 3 hours a day. He has shown great improvement and continues to improve everyday. He explains coming out of it as coming home from a mission. He says that you feel lost at first and then reality hits and you are forced to get back into real life. He explains that in the beginning it felt like I was his senior companion and that he was the junior companion. He now feels that we are both the senior companion and feels almost 100%.  Somethings are still hard for him and will take time for him to get back to normal. He hates that he still can't drive (although he has driven a few times with me),  and hates that he still can't work. He is very determined to get "back to our life and the way things were."

Due to the accident we have had to move in with my parents. Which has been a big stress reliever and at the same time a little hard for the both of us because we had been living on our own.

We also found out this summer that we are going to be welcoming a little daughter. We are both so excited and can't wait to meet her.

Cameron

Cameron has been such a blessing in my life, I felt that I needed to share with everyone and tell everyone what an amazing person Cameron is. Cameron from the first day I met him I knew he was an amazing person. I don't know if many of you know the story of how Cameron and I met. We first met in San Fran where Cameron was playing for the UVU rugby team. My Uncle Dean was one of his coaches and I was there with my dad and older brother on a little vacation. The first conversion I had with Cameron was over his shoes. Cameron was sitting on the side line with the rest of the UVU team and I was there sitting with my brother watching BYU play a California team. I'm can't remember how we got to talk about Camerons shoes but that was the first conversion Cameron and I had. I remember laughing with and at Cameron and knew at that moment I liked how Cameron fired back at me and laughed at me. I was also very drawn to Cameron birthmark on his head. After I had returned home I asked my Uncle Dean what his name was and how I could get a hold of him. My uncle didn't have his number but mentioned that he had facebook. So I looked him up and added him as a friend. Thats is how Cameron and I got to know one another, After telling him who I was, Cameron asked me out and two and half weeks later we were engaged. This came to shock to both families but Cameron and I knew that what we had was something eternal. Cameron and I have almost been married a year now and all I can say is it has been the best year of my life. Cameron makes me happy in so many ways, he is so caring and loving and would do just about everything and anything to help out anyone. He loves our Heavenly Father and Savior and this Church. He has such a strong testimony of this Church and would do anything in this world to defend it. He is such an example to me of how we should be living and loving the gospel. I am also so grateful for Cameron's family. They are all so loving and caring of one another. I feel so blessed that Cameron is in my life and that we will have each other forever. He is an amazing man, with so much to fulfill in his life. Cameron has what it takes to become what ever he choose to be. I am so proud to call him my husband and mine. I love him with all my heart and I know from what Cameron has gone through he will find many blessing from it. I pray that I can be as strong as Cameron and be there for him. He has a while to go before he is fully recovered but I know in my heart Cameron has the determination from his love of his family and for the love of this gospel Cameron will come out on top.

Doughnut Falls

On Saturday, Cameron and I decided to hike Doughnut Fall up in Big Cotton Canyon. The snow wasn't all the way melted so we had to hike through a little bit of snow and freezing cold water. We made it and it was so pretty!  We tried to hike it last year while we were dating at night but there was so much more snow that we weren't able to make it up last year, so this was just so much fun to rein-act one of our dates and actually make it this time. It was a Blast!

Thank You Blake and Heather!!!

So today Cameron refereed two games of rugby up in West Jordan. He decided to ride the motorcycle up there, even though I told him to take the car. When I finally got up and dressed and looked outside and saw that it was pouring down, I decided to drive up there and find him and bring him home. I had no idea where the games were being played but just knew that I had to get up there. I called my dad hoping he'd know where he was and my dad told me 1600 south in Salt Lake near Redwood RD. Having no idea where either of those were I just decided  to drive. I ended up at 600 South, after deciding to turn around and head back the other way. Long story short I was suppose to get off a 10600 S. at West Jordan (Thanks DAD!). After finding the field I sat in the car with my Ipod on, lights on, and phone charger left running. When the game was over I tried to start the car but it was dead. When Cameron came to the car I told him what I'd done. I was Freaking out because I thought we didn't have any jumper cables and was afraid no one else would. Then Cameron turned to me and said "yes we do Heather and Blake got us some for our wedding." I was so relieved, Cameron than found some one to help us out and we went on our way! I just want to write this to say THANK YOU HEATHER and BLAKE!

Best husband in the WORLD!!!

Today as I was walking out the front door to go to work Cameron greeted me at the door with a surprise. He told me earlier that he had to get out of the house and had to go for a motorcycle ride. This sounding normal I had no reason to question him. Getting back to the surprise, I walking out of the front door and there Cameron was standing there with a BIG grin. It scared me at first but than asked what he was doing, he asked me to come in and sit down. Me not know what was going on said "I can't I'm late for work."  He finally convinced me to come in and sit down. He than handed me a small brown box with Samuels Diamonds  written on it ( the same place he got my wedding ring from). I opened the box and to my surprise was this BEAUTIFUL white gold necklace with diamonds on it. I had no idea that Cameron was going to get this for me. After looking at the necklace for a while realized I still had to go to work so I gave Cameron a big hug and kissed and went on my way. As I was driving to work I began to cry, I couldn't believe that I had found someone so wonderful that treats me so well and buys me gifts. I'm so grateful for Cameron and for the support he has given me these last couple of weeks that have been hard for me. He does so much and does it without wanting anything in return.  I have the BEST husband EVER!!!

New News

So as of our last doctors apt we are not as far along as they and we thought. We really are only eight weeks instead of the twelve they told us earlier. We had an ultrasound done because they couldn't hear the heartbeat and the ultrasound proved that we are only eight weeks. We did get to hear the heartbeat it is 140 beats per min. We are so excited but a little bummed about the new date which will be Nov. 2nd.

side note: Cameron and I are both convinced that the baby is a boy!!!!

Baby update!!!

Okay so the reason you haven't heard from us is because we didn't end up not going to the doctors till today because we switched doctors (sorry Heather). Okay so here it is we are 11 weeks and the due date is September 28. We go in next week for our 12 week check up and there will be able to hear the babies heart beat. Cameron and I are so excited!

My DAD is now an American citizen

As of today my dad (Mark Ormsby) is an American citizen. I'm so proud of my dad and for the love he has for both New Zealand and The United State of America. It only took him 24 years to get but he didn't start the process till November of last year. Most of the family was there to support and see him take the oath. I love my dad and I'm so happy that he is now an American citizen.

Young Cameron!

A couple of weeks ago Cameron's dad, Dalan sent us some pictures of him and Cameron on a hike (Sorry a backpacking trip in Wind Rivers, Colorado). Its so fun and cool to see Cameron so young and so little.
